Thank goodness we are living in a generation where cosmetic companies are moving away from testing chemicals and cosmetics on animals. Bellabaci International has always been strongly opposed to animal testing, and we will continue to do so.
Unfortunately, there are still a lot of companies in the world who test on animals, even though there are plenty of alternatives available in the non-animal-testing category. Strangely enough, non-animal testing works out cheaper and is a more accurate predictor of irritation possibilities in humans, so it is quite astounding that so many companies do not make use of the latest technologies which are animal cruelty-free.
Non-animal testing includes the donation of human cells, corneas etc, and obviously, it makes more sense that you would get a more accurate reading by using this method, because, let’s face it, we are human!
You can do your part by assuring that you are not helping to grow companies such as these by always checking if the company is cruelty-free. The more people who decline products in favor of animal testing, the loader the voice will become that we will not accept or make use of cosmetics and products such as these.
Israel was probably the first country to ban animal-testing and Europe have taken a great leap for our furry friends by refusing entry or sale of any product tested on animals.
Let’s all do our bit for anti-animal cruelty and make sure who we are supporting and what we are using on our bodies.

I think it is refreshing to know we still have some animal friendly products out there, not only for the well being of the animals, but also the health benefits to customers.
