Welcome to the evolution of Massage Oils
When we think of Massage Carrier Oils, it’s nothing really exciting. The usual suspects that come to mind are Grape Seed, Olive, Almond or Arachis Oil. We then have to add the right essential oils to the carrier oil, which will assist the client’s concern and reason for needing the massage.
These are all great, but they usually leave their tell-tale smell signature on your towels which can be experienced as soon as you enter the treatment room. Another drawback is the shelf life and rancidity factor. Let’s face it, these just don’t last and they stain our uniforms. Some clients also don’t like
Clients who need to return to work usually don’t like to have massages as they don’t want to feel greasy. With vegetal oils, you need a cleanser to dissolve the greasiness. No amount of hot compressing is really going to leave the client feeling as squeaky clean they would like to before getting back into their work clothes.
At Bellabaci, we have been searching for a solution to cater to the needs of the therapist as well as the client, keeping in mind that spas need to think of budgets and expenditure.
MCT Oil – An obvious yet healthy solution
Our solution to all of the above is Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO), also know as MCT Oil. We all know about the benefits of Coconut Oil, but it is solid at room temperature and not as user-friendly. FCO is Coconut oil, but in liquid form. It goes through a process of hydrolyses to remove the long chain fatty acids. This leaves the highly nutritious medium chain fatty acids (MCT Oil), to nourish every cell.
This process is also great to ensure the stability of the oil, which directly increases the shelf life. MCT Oil also does not stain or have a rancid smell. Our formulation is water-soluble, meaning that a quick rinse or hot compress will be sufficient to remove any traces of oil.
The spreadability of MCT Oil is also better than you are used to, making you money go further.
Does having all these benefits of coconut oil sound too costly and not suitable to sustain for professional use?
We have made it affordable for you at very comparative prices to increase your bottom line, while not skimping on the actives. Our Treatment Massage Oils still contain our 4.5% actives of Aromatherapy and Homeopathy, helping you create a holistic experience for your clients.

I have gone for a few massages where the smell of the towels really ruins the experience. I hope everyone will start using this
